    Adjunct Faculty are responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided. Negative plates can be selected in the Silkscreen palette in Layout or in the Screening tab of the RIP Queue.Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis. During the printing process the plates are printed individually. The Output Inspector shows a composite view of all the plates. They will take the halftone settings as set-up in the queue but the linearisation from the Black channel when none is defined in the PMM. This queue has in its setting the option to define additional default settings for specific channel names. During the creation of the queue select as queue type “Silkscreen”. In the RIP it is possible to set-up dedicated queues for automatically processing jobs for silkscreen printers. Switching it off will inhibit a plate for that channel. The checkbox in from of the channel indicates if the plate will be generated when the job is send. The halftone settings are those as defined in the PMM but can be freely changed in this palette. By default all channels are visible defined in the chosen PMM and the channels defined in the jobs added to the canvas of the Layout application. Chose the palette from the Window menu to make it visible. Preparing jobs in Layout feature a palette that is by default not visible: “Screen Settings”. Check the page about calibrating silkscreen printers. Go in the RIP to the menu File > Edit Media Sizes to add the frame sizes used (netto imageable size) and remove the frame sizes not used.Ĭalibrating a silkscreen workflow has a few difference with other digital devices. Only a few frame sizes are default defined after setting up the printer. The following steps are to be observed when setting up a silkscreen workflow next to the normal set-up procedures.
